Mental health 101


• Fixing your internal monologue encouraging and positive self talk, Reframe problem as an opportunity to learn/ grow, and don't fall for perfection trap, avoid sink ship mentality.

Digital detox - don't use phone on eating/washroom/bedtime(9/10 pm). Use an app to track time(block). tech free hours remove internet and do the work/study(9 am to 5 pm), turnoff all notification, use do not disturb mode every time. Go for full day detox every Sunday. reduce information overload you don't miss anything. declutter your device. pursue Hobbies. use screen free alternatives google assistant, live transcribe and voice typing. switch to paper planer instead of digital things. track progress and reward yourself.

Stress management techniques - laugh and fun, declutter your space, create a calm environment and deep rest on Sunday. Massage/spa with lavender oil and warm water, naked feet mindless walk in nature, gratitude practices. physical activity and meditation.

Setting boundary - high standards in everything (high value, have a strong why, good habits, stick to your commitments, delayed gratification, pay attention to details, be better everyday, celebrate progress not perfection, stay focus on what truly matters, reflect on your progress/failure). say NO to everything. protect your time and energy. Self worth, winners attitude, I'M OWN THIS.

Journaling - write down everything (use a paper journal, write 20 min per day before bedtime, write your day briefly, be honest and don't alter details ask questions yourself, reflect regularly/weekly) [Write about things that you do, what you ate, who you met, what you talked about. Did I make a social mistake? how was my mood overall? was today a productive day? how could I improve today? what things did I do wrong but I did better? what things did I do right? ]
